Towards 2050 – Peter Roberntz, WWF Sweden

By 2050, drastic changes are expected through population growth, climate change, globalization and a growing world economy, thus putting tremendous pressure on forests and their governance.

This is one of many challenges facing all forest stakeholders. One of them is WWF – World Wildlife Fund who is an international non-governmental organization for wilderness preservation and the reduction of human impact on the environment.

This is their view of the challenges ahead:
