An ever-growing capacity

The Greater Stockholm area has some 300 hotels and over 33 000 rooms. There are 7 300 hotel rooms within a 10-minute walk from the Central Station alone. This already large capacity is growing substantially every year as new and exciting hotel projects come alive. By 2020 Stockholm will have grown by an additional 3 700 rooms, many in the lower price levels. All within walking distance of the city’s main attractions. Needless to say, the large selection of readily available accommodations takes one large obstacle out of the equation when planning the congress.

Stockholm offers attractive accommodation in all price ranges. And you can stay right in the heart of the city, no matter which alternative you choose.

Stockholm’s mid-range hotels are well known for their high standard, as are the hostels. Room rates in hotels generally include breakfast. A youth hostel can be an economical alternative to a hotel. Most of Stockholm’s youth hostels, which maintain a very high standard, offer the visitor a number of options.

Perhaps you would like to spend the night in a dormitory and prepare your own meals to keep costs down. If, on the other hand, you would prefer a more comfortable alternative and are prepared to pay a little more, you can rent a single or a double room. At most youth hostels, you can also buy sheets, room service, and breakfast.
