MEETING POINT FOR DEPARTURE for this tour:

Arrivals to Reykjavik during the DAY 1 on 16 June – Sunday
Meeting at the Hotel Park Inn By Radisson Reykjavik Keflavik Airport
(A sign with IUFRO 2024 will be placed at the Hotel reception)
Departure for tour with a private bus will be on DAY 2 – 17 June

Make sure, in advance, the transit time to reach the meeting point.

POINT OF ARRIVAL from this tour:

The program will end at arrival back to Reykjavik on DAY 6 – 21 June – Friday
(09.30 – 10.05 morning flight Egilsstaðir – Reykjavik)
But we have added one extra overnight in Reykjavik city for your free exploring. If you want to exclude this option, please contact us for cost adjustment. Otherwise, all your departure flights from Iceland to Stockholm should be planned for 22 June.

Price: EUR 3220* per person in a double room / EUR 3710* per person in single room

Featured: 8 forestry technical and 11 tourist locations
Transportation:

  • Private transfer – executive 49-seater coach at disposal for all days
  • Airfare from Egilsstaðir to Reykjavik on DAY 6 – 21 June with a 10 kg hand luggage and a checked bag of up to 23 kg.

Guide: Tour guide (bus) and local guides with technical expertise
Accommodation as per plan: 6 nights in 3–4 star hotels
Food: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner for all days (as per plan). Drinks and tips are not included.

THE TOUR DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Transfer from Reykjavik Airport to the Hotel Park Inn By Radisson Reykjavik Keflavik Airport on Arrival Day on 16 June 2024 – Sunday (10 min by taxi)
  • Airfare for International Flights to/from Reykjavik on first and the last days of the tour.
  • Payment for service provided on personal basis.
  • Expenses incurred due to mishap, landslide, strikes, political unrest etc. In such cases extra will be charged as per actual
  • Cost for services which is not mentioned in “Inclusions”.
  • Personal expenses on items such as Laundry, Soft & Hard Drinks, bottled Water, Incidentals, Porterage, and Bell-Boy charges, Tips etc.
